감기

작년도 꽤 독한 감기로 인해 1월 2일 첫날부터 병원가고 했는데,
올해역시 연말연초부터 액땜을 하려는지 12월 말부터 감기로 고생하고 있습니다.

의사 말로는 둘째인 지원이와 똑같은 증상이라는걸 들어서는 아이한테 옮은거 같은데,
아이는 금방 나은것 같은데, 어른인 제가 계속 몸이 골골하네요. 날도 추운데.. T.T

이주초쯤 감기증상이 고점을 찍은듯 보였으나, 오늘 보면 점점 증상이 심해지는듯 보여
내일 다시 병원을 들려야 할것 같네요. 보통 감기로 2주 이상 끌어본적은 거의 없는거 같은데.. 음..

의사야 항상 같은 말로, 따뜻한물 많이 먹고 과로하지 말고 푹 쉬세요, 라고 하는데,
요즘 분위기상 할수 있는건 따뜻한 물뿐이네요. T.T

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

09. 11. 13 - 12. 30

기록을 보니, 01년 3월에 처음으로 읽었고, 03년 3월에 두번째로 읽었으니 이번에 3번째인데, 굳이 포스팅까지 하는 이유는 3번을 읽은 몇 안되는 책임과 동시에 원서로 읽을 최초의 단행본이라는 의미입니다.
 
쪽팔린 일이지만, 그간 몇 페이지 안되는 한영대역본 책은 본적이 있으나, 영어책에 대한 거부감, 두려움 같은게 영어책을 손에 잡지 않게 하여, 원서책을 처음부터 끝까지 본게 태어난지 32년여만에 처음입니다. 영어 리딩만 되면 어느정도 정말 수많은 실시간 정보의 바다가 펼쳐지리란 것도 알고 있었지만, 투자할만한 시간부족등을 이유로 멀리하였으니.. 아직도 영어 실력이 이모양 이꼴인 이유였던듯 하네요.

작년(그러고보니 벌써) 11월 스피드리딩을 보며, 뜻한바 있어, 한달여의 시간,(기회비용으로 대략 책 7-8권 읽을 시간)을 몽땅 투자해 해리포터에 쏟아부었슸니다.  딱히 구체적인 독서일지를 쓰지는 않아 명확치는 않으나, 대략 50시간 이상은 걸린듯. 번역판은 5시간도 안걸린것 같은데. -_-;;

마치 페이퍼북은 고삐리때 논술책인듯 빨간펜 일색이지만, 어느정도 뜻은 들어오고, 일단 이정도만으로도 점점 리딩속도가 빨리지고 있음을 스스로도 느끼니 다행한 일이고, 지금 나에게 있어, 실제 조금 강하고 우선적으로 필요한 영역이 듣기, 말하기보다도 읽기가 되어야 함도 공감하는 편입니다.

이리저리하여 올해는 독서량(정확히는 독서시간)의 1/3이상을 원서쪽에 할애할 예정입니다. 작년보다도 독서량 자체가 많이 줄겠지만, 뭔가를 얻기 위해서는 뭔가를 포기해야하기 마련이니...

일단 목표는 마법사의 돌 2회독후, 비밀의방까지 읽고 다른 좋은 책들을 찾아보기.
